Meet our Chef

At the heart of Baked by Moods, is a deep passion for baking, nurtured from childhood by our founder, Sarah Moody. Growing up in the Midwest, Sarah found her joy in the kitchen, experimenting with flavors and techniques that sparked a lifelong love for creating unforgettable treats.

This passion led her to the prestigious International Culinary Center in New York City, one of the nation’s finest culinary institutions. There, she honed her skills and mastered the fundamentals of French pastry-making. After graduating, Sarah pursued hands-on experience under French-trained chefs, where she learned the intricate balance of art and science that defines classic French patisserie.

Her career took her to the kitchens of a Michelin-starred restaurant, crafting exquisite dishes for diplomats and heads of state—a testament to her commitment to excellence and perfection.

After the challenges of the pandemic, Sarah relocated to Florida, inspired to bring her artistry to a new community. Today, she’s proud to offer Tampa Bay a taste of French baking, infused with a touch of American charm, through her expertly crafted pastries and desserts. Every creation reflects Sarah’s journey, blending years of dedication, expertise, and an unwavering love for her craft.
